Music, movies, TV shows, and audiobooks

You can hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, and audiobooks in iTunes on your Mac or PC. When you hide an item in iTunes, your purchase is automatically hidden in the Music app, TV app, Videos app, and iTunes on your other devices.

Hide items in iTunes

1. Open iTunes. If you're not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Purchased.
   If you use Family Sharing, choose Account > Family Purchases.
   
3. Depending on what you want to hide, click Music, Movies, TV Shows, or Audiobooks at the top of the window, then click All. All of your purchased items appear.
   
4. Scroll to find the item that you want to hide. Hold your pointer over the item and look for the x icon in the upper-left corner. Click the icon, and your item hides.
   

The first time you hide a purchase, you'll need to confirm that you want to hide it. You might not see this message the next time that you hide a purchase.

Unhide items in iTunes

To open iTunes and sign in to your Account Information page, click this link: View My Account. Or follow these steps:

1. Open iTunes. If you're not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > View My Account.
   
3. Sign in with your Apple ID, then click View Account.
4. On the Account Information page, scroll to the iTunes in the Cloud section. To the right of Hidden Purchases, click Manage.
   
5. Depending on what you want to unhide, click Music, Movies, TV Shows, or Audiobooks at the top of the window.
6. Find the item that you want to unhide, then click Unhide under it.

Books

You can hide and unhide books in the Books app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. When you hide the item in the Books app, the item is automatically hidden in the Books app on your other devices.

You can also hide books in the Books app on a Mac. Click Book Store, click Purchased in the Quick Links on the right, and click the X icon that appears when you hover your pointer over a book. To unhide books on Mac, click Store > View My Apple ID, scroll to Hidden Purchases, then click Manage.

1. Open the Books app, then tap Library.
2. Tap the icon below the book that you want to hide. If the book is part of a series, tap the series, choose an individual book, then tap .
   
3. Tap Remove.
   
4. Tap Hide Book.

If you don't see Hide Book, you might be able to tap Remove Download to remove the download from your device or Delete Everywhere to remove the book from iCloud and all your devices.

Unhide books

1. Open the Books app, then tap Reading Now.
2. Tap or your photo, then tap Manage Hidden Purchases. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
   
3. Find the item that you want to unhide, then tap Unhide next to the item.
